Our Farm

Erin Sewell began growing microgreens for herself and her family after the lockdown in March of 2020. When she realized that she was growing more than she could eat, she started giving them out to friends and family. They loved them so much that even their friends began asking for some.

From there it started to grow!

People from all over the community started purchasing large containers of greens. Then after that, farmers markets, stores, and restaurants wanted to be involved.

Why Microgreens?

Erin didn't know about microgreens until she heard about their nutritional value. All the nutrients of plants are in the seed, so when you grow them as microgreens, you're getting all the nutrients that would usually be spread throughout the plant. This means that you are able to reach your nutritional goals really fast!

Erin 's late state Lyme Disease started an immune disorder that she recently just kicked, and she believes fully that microgreens had a lot to do with it. When the pandemic started, she literally had to lock herself in because COVID-19 would probably have killed her at that point. The situation forced her to shelter herself and take care of her nutritional needs from home. Once she started doing this, she realized how delicious and flavorful microgreens were.

They are mighty seedlings!
